Do I need car alarm?
Yes you do. Studies have shown that the most effective
way to protect your vehicle from vandalism, forced entry,
and theft is with the addition of a car security system.
Many vehicles also qualify for an insurance rate discount
after an anti-theft device is installed. With today's
expensive auto insurance premiums, a single claim can
be more expensive than an alarm system.
How long does it take to install an alarm or remote
starter?
The time varies depending on the vehicle and the type
of system being installed. Typically, it takes between
4 to 6 hours. You are welcome relax in our waiting area.
If you choose to just drop off your vehicle, we will
call you as soon as it is ready. As long as you book
your appointment ahead of time, we are usually able
to return your vehicle on the same day.
What are the benefits of a remote starter?
There are many benefits that make a remote starter worth
every penny. During the winter it will warm your car
and melt the frost on your vehicle's glass, saving you
precious time. Your engine is also being gently warmed
up at the same time, protecting it from being driven
while cold. That extends the life of your engine. During
hot summer days, you can also use your remote starter
to cool your car's interior.
What is a bypass module?
Most modern vehicles are equipped with manufacturer
installed anti-theft devices. In such cases an interface
module is required in order for your new remote start
system to properly communicate with your vehicle's anti-theft
system, allowing for remote starting. Also increasingly
common is the need to employ interface modules that
relay your vehicle's power lock, entry trigger, brake,
and oem security signals. Although the need for such
interfaces increase the cost of installation, they make
your system operate much more seamlessly.
Does my vehicle need a bypass module?
Most newer vehicle will require a bypass module. We
will help you select the one that is most suitable for
your needs.
Something is not right with my alarm/remote starter.
When you purchase and install a car security and/or
remote start system at N-Motion, we offer free lifetime
technical support for your system. The most common causes
are accidental programming changes.
What does my warranty cover and how long does it
last for?
Your warranty covers the remote and external parts for
1 year from date of purchase. The control module is
covered the lifetime that you own the vehicle. The warranty
is non-transferable and only available to the original
purchaser.
I saw an ad that is cheaper than the price that
you quoted me.
