Window Tint Film FAQ

Ceramic window tint films are of the highest quality available. Ceramic films also have superior heat and UV blocking capablities, while not interfering with wireless signal transmission. The production cost is much higher and installation is more difficult, compared to lower grade films.

All of our window film installations are covered by a product warranty and installation warranty, unless otherwise specified. The product warranty covers any defects or premature failure in accordance to manufacturer specifications (provided and on the condition that the products were properly installed by an authorized dealer).

The cost of having window tint film installed depends on the quality of materials used and workmanship. N-Motion offers excellent value for your money, considering the high quality of materials we use and high level of workmanship.

On average, most vehicles will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete. The size, number of windows and type of vehicle will impact the time required for installation.

Please refrain from lowering tinted windows for at least 2-3 days. Upon completion of the installation, you may notice a hazy, patchy and uneven appearance. Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for the moisture to completely evaporate. Drying times will vary depending on the weather.

British Columbia - No film is permitted on the driver's compartment, right and left. Any film may be installed on the side windows behind the driver. Any film may be applied to the rear window, provided the vehicle has 2 exterior rear view mirrors.

Our highly experienced installers take great care to provide the best window film application results each and every time. However, due to the nature of film application processes, please note that a very minor degree of dust particles will be present in every installation. The amount of dust present in a job is directly related to the age and cleanliness of the vehicle.

Raised black dots can be found at the edges of some automotive windows. Purely cosmetic, they are used to hide the edges of trim panels and glass. Raised areas make window film application challenging, as the film is designed to adhere directly to glass. These dotted areas will have a white appearance once window film is applied and is completely normal.

Some people may falsely believe that it is not good to have their windows tinted on a cold or rainy day. With today's advanced adhesive technology combined with our special drying techniques, there is no need to worry. Any time of year is suitable for tinting at N-Motion.

For maintenance of your window film, we recommend a mild glass cleaner that does not contain ammonia. Do not use abrasive agents or tools on window films.
